I feel alone this holiday season. If there are any kind people out there who would love to respond to this, feel free to do so. Thanks

Many people feel alone during this time of year. They are reminded of love ones lost.
You are not alone, in fact I think it is pretty common for people to feel blue during this season that emphasizes so much on spending lots of money and buying as much as you can. I know for me it depresses me when I cannot afford everything I'd like to get everyone on my list. I also miss my grandma during this time of year because she always loved the holidays. |

Well I wonder why you feel alone unless you are to old to go out or handicap to do so there is no reason to be or feel lonely there are many church groups that meet daily as well as all hose people needing some TLC in their homes that can't get out or go help in a soup kitchen boy there are sooo many places you could go you should not ever feel lonely

Hi Fred...I feel fortunate to be able to say that I feel far from alone this holiday, but I have been there before, and it's never easy. I'm lucky enough to have a small but great goup of family and friends, but always have room for more. Please feel free to email me through my profile if you feel like talking to someone. I hope 2008 brings you much happiness, and that you'll feel very different a year from tonight. All the best. Angelina

Totally! My great grandpa just died last month and I was really close to him. We went over to his house once every weekend just to see how he was doing since our great grandma just died a year ago. I loved him so much and was trying to help him see Jesus is his Savior. When he was laying on the hospital bed that was put into his house my family and I would talk to him and pray with him hoping he would soak up what we were saying and maybe drop his evolution theories and have faith in God. The worst of it is we shared the same birthday and my birthday wasn't the same this month. He wasn't sitting in his usual spot talking about his stories that he's told a hundred times over again and I just really want to hear his stories again.

I do. I don't have anyone special to celebrate the holidays with except for my family. Hopefully that will change for both of us =)
