"would you like to go out some time" is much better than "me." With the second one, the girl might feel too pushed and it sounds a tad too strong compared to the first one. Because the first one is much more laid back and sort of makes her feel like she has an option. Hope that helps!

What kind of a question is that? You are way too nervous to be asking a girl out on a date. Take a moment to relax, build some quick confidence and then ask her with either of those two lines, they are both the same. Do not be obsessing yourself over such little things.

How about, "Hey, _________, would you like to get together sometime, maybe have lunch, or dinner?" That way she knows you would like to get to know her in an intimant setting. "Going Out" is too random, at least for my taste!! Good luck, I'm sure she'll say yes!!!

Be cool about it... don't stress, if shes interested it wont matter what you ask or how... But do make sure what ever you do your both into... that way your both relaxed and able to have a good time, if a girl is having a good time it makes it easyer for conversation to flow.
Good Luck.... Have Fun =] |

if a guy told me "would you like to go out sometime?" id say "yes i would so much in fact that im going out with my friends on thursday night" thus requiring him to then say "would you like to go out with ME sometime?"

I wouldn't do either one. Both put her on the spot. Either she has to say yes or no, and that creates a lot of stress between the two of you at a time when you don't want it.
Instead of giving your potential future date an ultimatum, just tell her you are going to the local joint in your neighborhood for an ice cream later on this afternoon or this evening, and ask if she likes ice cream. At at that point, she has to say yes, but it leaves her an out. You haven't asked her to commit to having some kind of interest in you, only in ice cream. This is just an example, but it becomes much less stressful than the "ultimatum" questions you've proposed. Always leave your potential "date" a graceful way out. Eventually, you will develop the correct approach to making your invitation. Don't be discouraged by a few failures. If you don't have a few failures, it's because you didn't make the effort often enough. |
